Who We Are
We have been serving pool and spa owners across the Front Range for [X] years, working out of Fort Lupton and covering the Denver metro from Brighton and Thornton down through Englewood and Castle Rock and out to Evergreen, Longmont, and Fort Collins.
The work spans residential back yards, HOA and apartment amenity pools, hotels, health clubs, and municipal facilities. Some of our clients call once for an emergency and some have been on a weekly schedule for [X] years. Both matter.
Why We Cover the Whole System
Most pool companies pick a lane. There are service companies that will not do construction, builders that disappear after handover, leak detection outfits that hand you a report and leave, and pressure washing crews that have never seen the inside of an equipment pad.
We do all of it, and the reason is practical rather than promotional. Pool problems do not stay in one category. A leak becomes a plumbing repair, which becomes a deck repair, which becomes a plaster patch. A resurface needs the shell washed, the tile addressed, and any leak found before the new finish goes on. A green pond turns out to be a pump sized wrong. When one contractor owns the whole system, the diagnosis is better and nobody gets to blame the other guy.
It also makes us better at each piece. Because we detect leaks every week, we know where pools fail. Because we resurface pools, we know what a wash has to accomplish before plaster goes down. Because we service what we build, we build differently.
We Are a Colorado Pool Company, Not a National Playbook
This is the part that actually shows up in the work. A pool in Denver is a different technical problem than a pool in Phoenix or Atlanta, and most of what goes wrong here traces back to four local conditions.
- Freeze and thaw across a seven month off season, which is the largest single cause of pool damage in this market and the reason winterization is not a formality
- Expansive clay soil that swells and shrinks with moisture, cracking decks, shifting equipment pads, and breaking buried plumbing
- Hard Front Range water that leaves calcium scale on tile, plaster, and inside heaters
- A mile of elevation, where intense ultraviolet destroys chlorine faster and lower air pressure drives pH up on its own
None of that is on a manufacturer chart. It is why a company that learned the trade in a warm climate gets Colorado pools wrong, and it is why our advice about timing, chemistry, and materials sometimes contradicts what you read online.
How We Work
- Diagnose before quoting. We do not price a repair against a guess, particularly on a leak. A quote written on a hunch is a quote written to be wrong.
- Say when a repair is not the right money. A twelve year old heater needing a heat exchanger, plaster patched five times, a hot tub with three simultaneous failures. We will tell you.
- Explain what we found. You should know what your pool is doing and why, not just what the invoice says.
- Do the invisible work while access is open. A remodel is the only time the deck is up and the pool is drained, and that is when plumbing and drainage cost a fraction of what they cost later.
- Show up for the emergencies. A broken line in freezing weather or a hot tub down in January is a same day problem, because waiting multiplies the repair.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Where is Pool and Spa Medics located?
We are based in Fort Lupton, Colorado, and we serve the Denver metro and northern Front Range, including Denver, Brighton, Thornton, Broomfield, Longmont, Englewood, Castle Rock, Evergreen, and Fort Collins.
-
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are a licensed and insured pool and spa contractor.
-
What services do you offer?
Pool services, spa and hot tub services, pool building and remodeling, leak detection, pressure washing, and pond and waterfall work. Covering the whole system is deliberate, because pool problems rarely stay in one category.
-
Do you work on residential and commercial properties?
Both. Residential back yards, HOA and apartment amenity pools, hotels, health clubs, and municipal facilities, with the documentation and compliance work that commercial properties require.
-
Do you service pools you did not build?
Yes, and that is most of what we do. On a pool with no service history we assess the shell, equipment, plumbing, and water first so you know what you actually own.
-
Why does a Colorado pool need a Colorado pool company?
Because the failure modes are local. Freeze and thaw damage, expansive clay soil movement, hard water scale, and altitude driven pH rise are the four things that break pools here, and none of them appear in a national maintenance guide.
-
Do you offer emergency service?
Yes. Broken plumbing, rapid water loss, and anything down in freezing weather are same day problems, because in this climate waiting turns a small repair into a large one.
-
What areas do you serve?
The Denver metro and northern Front Range from our base in Fort Lupton. If you are not sure whether you are in range, call and ask.
